I Need A Doctor!

I was in the mood for baking more yummy goodies and along came Dr Oetker to save the day!  We were sent a few boxes of deliciousness to try out, and when given the choice, Madam insisted on the Double Chocolate Brownies being first.  Well, who am I to argue?

You sinply need to grab the few extra ingredients; the egg, some vegetable oil and water, then mix them all together along with the brownie packet mix.  Naturally, Madam had to help.

(I think she was keeping her eye on Daddy, in case he went for her chocolatey spoon!)

Once all the ingredients are nicely blended, you tip in the bag of chocolate chunks, ours had a few less than usual as Madam got to them first!  Then pour the mixture into a square or rectangle baking tray/tin, and pop it into the oven for about 20-25 minutes.

And voila!

Now, before you say anything, I realise it doesn't look too clever!  I couldn't find my square baking tin anywhere, so had to make do with a too-large round tin, and as a result the brownies looked none too right.  Still tasted gorgeous though, no problems there. :)

We also made up the Tarte au Citron, which was just as simple and delicious.  But I took photos of that on a different camera, the same camera Madam later on decided needed a bath... in the toilet. Great work, Mummy's little angel (!).  But let me assure you that it was light, moist and had the perfect degree of lemony tanginess (those are real words, I'm sure).

You can buy Dr Oetker mixes from any decent supermarket all at very reasonable prices, other packets include Double Chocolate Cookies, White Chocolate brownies and more mouth watering goodies.  You can also buy an amazing range of Decorations to finish off your own home baking.
